Ismael Daribo received the B.Sc., M.Sc./M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in specialty of Multimedia, Computer Science, Image and Signal Processing in 2002, 2005 and 2009, respectively. He stayed in Keio University, Japan as a visiting scholar researcher in 2008. Since 2010, he has been a specially appointed assistant professor in Keio University, Japan, and Hiroshima City University, Japan. After being awarded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), at present he's a visiting research scientist at the National Institute of Informatics, Japan and a member of the Japanese-French Laboratory for Informatics.
He's currently an editorial board member of the Journal "Recent Patents on Telecommunications", Bentham Science Publishers and acts as a reviewer for several international journals (including IEEE and IET) and IEEE conferences. He has published different journal papers (IEEE Trans., JASP, JVCI), book chapters (published by Springer and Intech) and international conference papers.
Ismael Daribo received in 2005 his Engineering diploma in specialty of Multimedia from the IMAC Graduate Engineering School, France and his Master's degree of Computer Science in specialty of Image and Cinema from University of Paris-Est, France. After a research assistant position in University of Paris-Est, France, in the area of computer graphics and heat transfert fields, he joined in 2006 the Signal and Image Department's multimedia team of Telecom ParisTech, where he received his Ph.D. degree in specialty of Image and Signal Processing related to multiview video processing for 3DTV and FTV, in 2009, from the graduate college of Telecom ParisTech, doctoral Programme EDITE (Paris Doctoral School of Computer Science, Telecommunications and Electronics).
During the summer of 2008, he was a visiting scholar researcher under the JSPS program at the Saito Laboratory also known as HVRL in the Department of Information and Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University, Japan, where he holded a research associate position in 2010. After, he joined the Image and Media Lab in the Faculty of Information Sciences, Hiroshima Ciy University, Japan in 2011. Now, he's currently a visiting researcher at the Research Division of Digital Content and Media Sciences, National Institute of Informatics, Japan, and a member of the Japanese-French Laboratory for Informatics.
